Hello there!

Nottingham has a long, proud history of standing up to injustice and fighting back where it counts. We’re a principled lot!

While you’re all stuck indoors, Nottingham Castle Trust want you to get creative and represent your experiences or perspectives of activism, protest and rebellion in any artistic way you like. You can work alone or as a family. You might want to write a poem like our Engagement & Participation Officer Josh or you can draw a picture, sing a song, act a scene, share a photo, make a dance, create a protest banner or come up with something completely different.

We will feature our favourite entries in a regular highlights video and over the next few months we will collect all your entries to form part of a bigger project that will be hosted at Nottingham Castle when we reopen. There will even be a few special prizes for our overall favourites!

Please send your ideas to @nottmcastle with the hashtag #VoicesOfToday

We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
