This week we thought we’d remind you all of the activities we’ve done so far and maybe jog your memory to try one you’ve not done yet! Let’s have a look below!
Week one and it was our Robin Hood and his companion plaques: Heritage Hunters Blue Plaque Challenge.
Week two and we were master medieval craftspeople as we constructed our keeps in our Build your own Castle challenge.
Week three and we were inspired by Violas in the Window by Winnifred Nicholson to create our own View from your Room Windowscape.
Week four saw us searching for stories at home and when we left the house in our Story Scavengers activity.
Week five and we were all lyrical miracles as we created Poet-Trees in our house or gardens.
Week six and it was pens and pencils at the ready with the Robin Hood Colouring-in Challenge!
Week seven and we were diarists, like famous Nottingham Castle resident Lucy Hutchinson, noting down our thoughts and experiences each day.
And, last week, we tried to recreate our amazing Gigantic Pumpkin from home!
It’s been a tough eight weeks but hopefully some of these activities have given you something fun to do during the very strange time. There’ll be a new activity up next week and keep sharing what you’ve done with us using the hashtag #NottmHeritageHunters.
Stay safe and happy creating.
